It takes courage to deliver difficult messages. It takes wisdom to deliver them with tact and diplomacy. It takes character to deliver them with consideration and compassion. It takes common sense to know when these messages should be delivered face-to-face and in private. Tweeting messages that have negative, potentially life altering consequences for the person(s) intended is cowardly and demonstrates a tremendous lack of professionalism and human decency. Why would anyone want to publicly humiliate and degrade someone? It says more about the person delivering the message than the person the message is for.
